VI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WHITE ARCHITURE

The Cátedra Blanca of Valencia has announced that the Sixth International Conference on White Architecture will be held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia on 6, 7 and 8 March 2014.

The Sixth International Conference on White Architecture is an edition that consolidates the progress that has been made over the last 12 years in architecture in general, and in the field of fair-faced concrete in particular, confirming itself as one of the most important forums for the exchange of architectural experiences in white concrete at an international level. In each edition, a selection of the best international studios that are working with concrete as the main material for their projects participate in the conference. The projects presented respond to different economies, locations and functions, but all share the common denominator of having been designed with concrete.

The conference is also complemented by a series of communications that present a large number of architectural works that complete the great compendium of projects exhibited during the three days of the conference. The conference papers are not only autobiographical in nature, but also include historical, theoretical and technological papers, as well as the latest innovations developed by companies in the field of concrete.
