The X International Conference on White Architecture [Materia y Forma], organised by the Cátedra Blanca Valencia, will take place on 9 March 2023 in the Aula Magna of the ETSA-UPV. This edition we have decided to have an intensive format, so that the three conferences will be held on the same day. There is also the option, as always, to enjoy them in streaming.

Every year, both the Conferences on Materia y Forma [MYF] and the International Congress on White Architecture [CIAB] bring to the ETSA-UPV the best international architecture studios that use fair-faced concrete as material for their projects. From Spain, we will have Ripoll·Tizon, whose latest award-winning projects incorporate fair-faced concrete with a very particular role. From Switzerland, we will have the opportunity to discover the elegant architecture of Karamuk Kuo, where concrete dialogues both with the exterior landscape and with the emptiness and matter of its interior spaces. From Brazil, Una MunizViegas, will delight us with their great variety of fair-faced concrete architectures, which use the material according to different scales and landscapes.

As a result of the conference, the book [MYF10] will be published, which will form part of the select collection published by the Cátedra Blanca Valencia. All of its books and journals comprise a catalogue of unique architecture from all over the world that specifically uses fair-faced concrete.
