V INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON WHITE ARCHITECTURE
After 10 years since the first CIAB in March 2002, the Fifth International Congress on White Architecture is a special edition that comes to enhance the journey that over these 10 years has transform architecture in general and concrete architecture in particular.
In each edition, a selection of the best international studios specialized in concrete have assit to this bi-annual event. The projects presented respond to diverse economies, locations and functions, but share the common denominator that all of them have been conceived in concrete. During this time, the CIAB has exposed more than 250 architectural works worldwide in white or colored apparent concrete.
In this new edition, the CIAB wants to give special emphasis to projects being developed in other countries where the current strength is developing new architectural concrete. Specifically it will include studios of Western Europe, Brazil, Japan, and the Middle East. In addition to the keynote speakers, papers to Congress provide a wealth of architectural works that complement the large collection of works exhibited in the three days of Congress.
Papers to Congress are not only an autobiographical character, but also a historical, theoretical or technological character.
With an attendance of 400, the CIAB 5 will take place at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, creating an ideal environment and meeting point between business, professionals and university.
With the intention to disseminate the most the conferences, all presentations and papers will be published in a catalog that will be presented at the opening of the congress. In addition, a website will be permanently in place to view the lectures.
