Karen McEvoy
Director
Karen McEvoy formulates the design philosophy of the practice and ensures that rigorous standards and thorough, insightful design development within the conceptual design framework are maintained at each stage of a project. Karen was educated at University College Dublin School of Architecture (B. Arch. Hons.), and is a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and an NCARB registered architect with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Karen was visiting professor at Harvard University, and has lectured in architecture at DIT Bolton Street School of Architecture and University College Dublin.

Merritt Bucholz
Director
Merritt together with partner Karen McEvoy, formulates the design philosophy of the practice, and sets the conceptual framework for all projects. Merritt leads research and development in design methodology, building technology, and energy systems. Merritt has been a visiting professor at Harvard University, and has lectured at Princeton University, Cornell University, the School of Architecture at University College Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology. He is currently the Professor of Architecture founding the new School of Architecture at the University of Limerick. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University.
